Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as some appearances in Malayalam. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri for Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she started her career as an actor. Following her study of fashion design, she went back to film. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy took on her first Malayalam projects, and then began working in Tamil simultaneously. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. But, both films didn't do very well in the cinemas. Because of her hectic schedule in 2015, she could not choose but to pull herself out of projects on which she had already begun making appearances, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In two of her films, she acted quickly, along together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also one of the main actors for Prabhu's Thodari. The film was pushed back since 2015 and reports suggest the film will release after September 2020, under the new name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa opposite Vijay director Bharathan.
