Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actor best famous for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform, as well as Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had success in both fields. Born in Montreal and brought up in Texas. Her entire life she has been a performer. From a young age, she has studied a variety different styles of dancing. The first time she entered beauty contests when she was the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a household name in 2008 when she appeared in Nuestra Bella Latina's second season, an Univision beauty competition series. In 2010, she made her debut on stage as a receptionist for an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. She appeared in the 2015 action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
